Greetings and warm welcome…!!

Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University in collaboration with Srinakharinwirot University welcomes you to the Asian Congress of Aesthetic Dentistry- 2016 & 1st MiCD Global Symposium during November 13- 15, 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. The theme for the congress is “Enhancing Smiles at Minimal Biologic Cost” that brings together international speakers to share information on the ever expanding trend of Minimal Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry (MiCD), a concept that encompasses the holistic patient care philosophy.

Current lifestyle trends molded by the media are focused on beautiful appearance. These trends combined with development of newer dental materials places significant emphasis on cosmetic and aesthetics in the new age of dentistry. As dentists in the rapidly evolving world, it is our responsibility to satisfy the needs of the patient yet keeping in mind the long term effect of the treatment. Minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry protocol is designed for educating and empowering the dental practitioners and academicians to achieve optimal aesthetic results ensuring form, function and overall dental health of the patient, and at same time conserve the natural tooth structure as well as oral environment.

Thailand is proud to host the 14th ACAD & 1st MiCD Global Symposium to reinforce the importance of the minimal invasive concept directed towards holistic approach of the patient. This concept is to promote the art and science of aesthetic dentistry and focus on the recent advancement in aesthetic dental materials, tools and equipment. This three day conference is an effort to connect the audience with the world’s leading speakers and experts in this field through interactive pre-congress workshops, scientific session lectures on minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry philosophy and movement initiated from Asia by Dr. Sushil Koirala, present President of Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry ( AAAD) . His hard work and devotion is directed towards making this a global success so that the participants can get a first-hand experience of minimally invasive treatment approach to confidently apply it in their own clinical practice.

I look forward to greeting and hosting you during the ACAD-2016 in this coming November, so that together we can create healthy beautiful smiles.

See you in Thailand….!!
